Troilus luridus is a species of shield bug.
Troilus luridus is a large predatory shieldbug in the Family Pentatomidae.
The shieldbug has an orange band on the penultimate antennal segment. The legs are brown and the scutellum lacks an orange tip [2].
It is one of four carnivorous species found in Britain of the predominantly phytophagous Pentatomidae insect family.[3]
